This cold room was built as a Milk and food distribution centre in 2018 for door step delivery company.

We were asked by our clients to build a large cold store to fill their need for a distribution centre to cover the Nottingham area.

We worked closely with the client’s project manager and also the depot manager to make sure the design met all of their requirements.

The room itself was 10.0m wide by 42m long and 2.7m high. This was divided in to two areas, one area chilled the other for ambient goods. It was erected with 3 large sliding doors along the front aspect. With another in the internal dividing wall, open the ambient area to a caged off area within the chiller.

The refrigeration systems were installed by our fully qualified engineers to maintain a temperature between +1°C and +3°C.

Finally the cold store was finished with door protection to all sliding doors, Aluminium sheet, top hat and angle iron to protect the walls and anti-corrosive light fittings including emergency lighting throughout.

This project was commissioned and completed in the quoted Seven week time frame.
